Serbian diaspora / Visiting Serbia

Visiting Serbia? Plan your tattoo before you travel.

If you live abroad and want a tattoo during a visit to Serbia, send your idea and travel dates before arriving. Dropz Tattoo Studio is at Generala Černjajeva 4 in Niš. An inquiry starts the review and discussion; a tattoo appointment is confirmed after scope and price are agreed, subject to studio availability.

Send an inquiry with your dates in Serbia. The form is in Serbian and accepts an international phone number. An in-person consultation is not a tattoo session; wait for confirmation before finalising travel plans.

Start with your arrival and departure dates

A short visit to Serbia may already include family, travel and other commitments. Give a tattoo its own place in that plan. In your first inquiry, include the full period you will be in the country, which days you can be in Niš, and whether another visit would be possible.

There is no single required lead time for every project, and availability cannot be promised in advance. Get in touch when you know your travel window and include enough information for the studio to understand your idea. If you have only one possible day, say so immediately: that date's availability and the project's feasibility are separate questions.

What should you send from abroad?

Use the inquiry form to describe the motif, attach references and give an approximate size in centimetres. Identify the body placement and explain whether you want black and grey, colour, or are still choosing a style. For a cover-up, send a clear photograph of the existing tattoo; for an extension, show the surrounding work too.

Leave contact details you can actually use while planning and travelling. Enter your phone number with its international country code. If you prefer a particular artist, mention the name and examples of their work that appeal to you. You do not need a finished drawing to start the conversation.

  • Your dates in Serbia and the days you can visit Niš.
  • References, approximate size and tattoo placement.
  • Photos of existing work for a cover-up or extension.
  • Contact details with an international phone number and any preferred artist.

An inquiry, a consultation and a tattoo session are different

An inquiry sends your idea to the studio for review. The reply starts a discussion about feasibility, scope and an estimate; some projects may also need an in-person conversation or assessment. A tattoo session is arranged once the project has been agreed and the studio confirms a date.

A free consultation requested through the calendar is an in-person discussion at the studio, not a tattoo appointment. Sending an inquiry does not automatically reserve a session. Before booking extra transport or changing your itinerary, wait for confirmation of what is agreed and when. Check payment and change arrangements directly with the studio.

Fit the session into your holiday plans

Mention beach trips, pools, sunbathing and onward travel before agreeing a session. EADV advises avoiding bathing and swimming until a tattoo has fully healed. A free day in your itinerary is therefore only one part of a workable plan.

Mayo Clinic advises keeping a new tattoo out of the sun while healing and contacting a healthcare professional if you suspect infection. This guide cannot establish when your skin has healed; follow your specific care instructions and seek medical advice for a health concern.

Can a whole project fit into one visit to Serbia?

That depends on the design, area, detail and number of sessions needed. A sleeve or large realistic composition may require several visits, so explain from the beginning whether you can return to Serbia and when. Avoid choosing the final size only to squeeze a project into a short holiday.

You can also discuss starting part of a larger project, but the overall composition should be considered first. Ask what would be completed now, what would remain for later, and how future appointments would be arranged. The studio does not promise to finish every design in a single weekend or one annual visit.
